Using Passes¶
Once the user has a valid pass they can use them with pass providers to access the service you wish to access. Users can present their valid pass at a VeriFLY checkpoints. A VeriFLY checkpoint refers to the point of entry where a user can be verified in one of three ways: - By scanning the QR code at the Checkpoint Gate - By scanning the QR code on the Checkpoint Kiosk - By showing a valid Pass to the Pass Provider staff
How to scan the Pass QR code at the Checkpoint Gate¶
In this scenario, you need to have an Active pass with the QR code generated on the pass. Then you can approach the checkpoint gate and scan the QR code to obtain access.
How to scan the QR code on the Checkpoint Kiosk¶
In this scenario, the VeriFLY checkpoint will display the QR code on the kiosk screen for you to scan the QR code. The system will check whether that you have a valid pass and credentials for that checkpoint and if so, will allow entry.
- The user clicks the "Scan" button in the middle bottom part of the screen.
- This opens the camera screen, and user holds the phone in a position to scan the QR code on the checkpoint kiosk
- The kiosk scanner reads the QR code.
- If both the pass is valid, a success message is displayed.
Showing a valid Pass to the Checkpoint Staff¶
Open the VeriFLY app and bring up a screen with the valid pass and the details and show it to the pass provider staff. The pass provider staff will verify that the pass is valid.
