Why do I need to take a selfie during enrollment?

VeriFLY uses your "selfie" to generate a flash pass. Your data never leaves the device and only you determine with whom it is shared.

How much does VeriFLY cost?

VeriFLY is a free service. However, our partners may charge a fee to use the VeriFLY services.

Is VeriFLY available in different languages?

Yes, VeriFLY is currently available in both English and Spanish. We are working to expand the use to other languages.

Does VeriFLY work offline?

VeriFLY requires a network connection to acquire credentials and passes. However, valid passes can be accessed and presented when your device is offline.

Which operating systems does VeriFLY support?

VeriFLY is compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems and currently supports iOS 11.0 (and higher) and Android 5.0 (and higher).

Can I change my photo?

Unfortunately, no. VeriFLY is designed with security and privacy being of utmost importance. Your enrollment identity resides on your device and is tamper-proof. You must delete VeriFLY and re-enroll if you wish to change your photo.

Can I change my email address?

Can I have more than one VeriFLY account?

No. Your account is associated with your identity.

Why can't I see the service provider I'm looking for in VeriFLY?

If the service provider you're looking for isn't publicly available, you will need a sponsored initiation to access their passes and/or credentials. We recommend contacting the service provider to receive this information.

What happens to my VeriFLY account if I lose my phone and/or purchase a new one?

Can I use my VeriFLY passes and/or credentials anywhere?

Only participating service providers will accept VeriFLY passes and/or credentials. A list of participating service providers can be found on the "My Passes" window of the VeriFLY app.

We are currently in the process of expanding our partnerships with new pass and credential providers to give users more VeriFLY opportunities.

Can I delete VeriFLY?

Yes. You always have control over your VeriFLY app, which includes the right to be forgotten at any point in time.

What happens to my data if I uninstall the app?

Once you uninstall VeriFLY, your account will remain active for a period of 12 month and then deleted.

How do I delete VeriFLY?

To delete your account, please use the “Delete VeriFLY account” options within the app settings. Once this is done, the account and all data are deleted and cannot be restored.

How do I recover my account?

What is a QR code?

A QR Code stands for Quick Response code and is a two-dimensional barcode that is readable by smartphones, tablets, iPads and other devices. It allows to encode over 4000 characters to formulate a message exchange between two parties.

Troubleshooting

Is my VeriFLY pass linked to my airline boarding pass?

No. You will nee to use your boarding pass and VeriFLY pass separately at the airport. We understand this can be an inconvenience and are actively working to improve this user experience.

I am unable to scan the QR code that I received via invitation email

Your QR code may be expired. Please reach out to your Service Provider POC or VeriFLY to receive another sponsored VeriFLY invitation. Read more about adding Passes using QR code in our Help Center.

I have a valid VeriFLY pass. How do I use it?

A valid pass gives you access to the checkpoint associated with your pass. Once at the checkpoint, please start your QR code scanning and scan the QR presented at the checkpoint app to enter. Please read more about verifying at the checkpoint in our Help Center.

I can't find the pass I am looking for

If the Pass is public, you should be able to find it using Browse. Some passes are not visible to all, you will need to receive the invitation from your pass provider. Please read more about Adding Passes in our [Help Center](confident-traveler-passes.md.

My VeriFLY Pass has status "Confirmed". What does that mean?

It means you have all credentials required for the pass but the pass is not ready for use. Most often, this occurs when a pass can only be active for a specific date/time and the user is outside of that period. Help Center

How do I get a VeriFLY Pass to become valid?

You need to collect all valid credentials required for that pass to become valid. Please read more about valid credentials in our Help Center

I am failing to verify my Pass at the checkpoint. What is wrong?

Make sure that all credentials required for your pass are not expired. Make sure you have an internet connection to be able to verify.

How long is my VeriFLY pass valid?

The VeriFLY pass is valid as long as the credentials required for that pass are valid. Validity periods are displayed in time/date format on each pass.

Can I change a reservation?

Yes. Reservations can be changed at any point before they go into effect by using the modify reservation or cancel reservation options. However, users will only be able to modify their reservation to dates/times that are currently available.

How do I use my VeriFLY pass with companions?

Your active VeriFLY pass can be used for all companions on the pass. If you have two companions on your pass, then you can scan that pass three times at the checkpoint - once for each companion and one for yourself.
